I also help children and teens cope with anxiety and adjust to big changes at home so they can feel better. I provide individual and group sessions both in person and telehealth across Texas!

Therapy for pregnant and postpartum women, NICU, birth trauma, and infant loss

As a new mom, feeling exhausted, reading this during a 2AM feed, wondering if the stress will end. You juggle motherhood, friendships, relationships, and perhaps work. Sleep is scarce—feeding, pumping, or watching your baby sleep—and no one truly prepares you for this. It is okay to feel anxious, tired, overwhelmed, sad, or disconnected from your baby. You are not alone in these feelings and it doesn’t make you a bad mom to feel something other than happiness and joy.

You might be reading this next to your baby’s bed in the NICU wondering when you will get to go home and be in your own space again. The emotional drain, being pulled between the hospital and siblings at home, and constant fear when you walk in all led you to here. You don’t have to navigate the emotional wave and unknown on your own.

Maybe you stumbled on this page wondering how life will move forward and how to accept the loss you have just encountered. Days and nights feel long, heavy, and empty as you sit next to an empty crib. The days and nights don’t have to feel heavy forever. There is hope to cope and live with loss.

I would love to help you navigate these difficult times and help you feel more like yourself again.

Children (Ages 4 and up)

A child may be trying to understand and express their feelings, but not have the words. This might show as tantrums, being quiet, acting out, or having trouble in school. Big changes like moving, a death, or parents divorcing can make it harder for them. Children and teens face a lot of challenges everyday, between peers, school, and family, learning to cope with anxiety and new changes can feel overwhelming. Kids need a safe place to share their feelings, and I’m here to provide that safe space so they can feel better and more like themselves again.

I offer counseling and play therapy for children and adolescents who have trouble managing emotions, feeling like themselves, sleeping through the night, coping with anxiety, struggling in school, or grieving a loss.

If any of this sounds like what your child may be experiencing, let’s talk about it! I would love to guide you through the next steps on how to help them feel better.

Athletes (all ages and performance levels)

Being a student-athlete is like having a job. You are expected to be perfect with no mental struggles. Whether you wear cleats, turf shoes, or court shoes—I know the pressure of being a student-athlete. The high expectations can feel overwhelming. Maybe you are coming back from an injury, or the high demands of the game are making it less fun and enjoyable. Perhaps your performance is declining because you don’t feel motivated anymore.

I’m here to help athletes of all ages improve their mental performance game. Men and women from any sport can get counseling for things like recovering from injury, handling game day stress, or managing the pressure of being a student-athlete.
